Meet Jim Logan

Hi! I’m Jim Logan – my professional focus is B2B complex sales.

If you’re not familiar with complex sales or maybe know of it by another name, a common definition is a sales environment whereby more than one person is involved in the purchase decision – mostly a strategic purchase made at executive levels of an organization.

What I do for my customers is help them reach more decision makers, navigate the complexities of decision influences, shorten their sales cycle, and overall increase their sales volume.  It’s a living…and a lot of fun :)

That’s a long and too formal way of saying I help people and businesses sell more stuff and make more money.

What you won’t find on this site are tricks or gimmicks to lure prospects or manipulate them to close sales opportunities. Instead, you’ll find nothing but proven tactics, strategies, and solid lessons learned from my experience personally selling, leading sales teams, and coaching sales professionals to exceed quotas in B2B complex sales environments.

Some things about me you’d find buried in this site

  • I’m married and have four kids – three boys, one girl
  • I live in Northern California
  • I’ve personally sold and led sales teams who have sold multimillion dollar technology solutions to some of the largest companies in the world
  • I started my traditional corporate life with the title Field Engineer.  I ended it with the title VP Worldwide Sales and Support
  • I have traveled all over the world on business – Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, Guam, South Korea, Japan, Okinawa, China, UK, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Israel, and counting :)
  • I coach youth soccer and basketball
  • At one point in my life, I owned a small manufacturing business
  • I’ve been an executive in both public and private companies
  • I served in the US Navy
  • I once worked at the White House and traveled with two US Presidents
  • I have traveled to every state in the United States except three – South Carolina, North Dakota and South Dakota

There’s more, but that’s everything that comes to mind and gives you a fair profile of who I am.
